My day 19

Today i woke up early in the morning to pray. i realised it has become so natural for me to pray since i came here. Maybe becasue my schedule is more relaxed here and i have more time for myself and God. It is a good break i guess. I have never prayed so intensely over the days before. It hit me just how important interssion and prayer is. Alot of people had told me that before but it was never so real until i experienced it myself. The team here tries to come together to pray as much as they can. Each step of the team is never taken without conslutation with God. Life is literally on the edge here. It is impossible not to draw close to God in such spititual atmosphere. I realised how little comparably i prayed during my ministry back home. Sometimes things back in Singapore are so prepared for you that there is no need to seek God much even in ministry. We always have our leaders, our shepherds, our sheep, our people to turn to when there are problems. When we need someone to talk to, there is always the listening ear. Sometime, the only time we seek God is during worship in service and caregroup. It is so important to pray.
